A sensible, unshowy class lands the Patriots a B-.

For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Patriots walked out of the weekend still thin at edge rusher, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Lance. The White pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. They went 5 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

A fair-value weekend of trading, no edge to be found.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
