The Jets let Newton fall into their laps, and walked away with a B.

Somebody in pick 226 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Jets sat still while Josh Newton, the No. 82 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

James has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want. Quarterback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
