You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Rams did exactly that with Tim Smith in No. 199.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Stutsman. They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. A whole weekend of picks and wide receiver is somehow still a want.

In the end, a coin-flip class: fine today, with a wide range of outcomes ahead.
