Draft Grade — Rams
Overall B
ValueB NeedB TradesB+ FutureC
The Rams did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B.

Every other box got a look, but wide receiver did not. The Rams will head to camp with the same hole they walked in with.

They banked enough surplus on Riley to cover a lot of smaller sins. Job largely done: safety settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered. They are betting the present roster is worth a lighter draft next spring.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.

Pick Analysis
Pick26 Rnd1 Tyler Warren
In pick 26 they get a red-zone target to build around, outstanding value to boot. A real need, handled.
Pick47 Rnd2 Jihaad Campbell
The board had Jihaad Campbell higher than pick No. 47, and the linebacker fell to them anyway. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
Pick101 Rnd3 Jalen Milroe
Fair-plus on Jalen Milroe, a quiet win that adds up over a draft. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick127 Rnd4 Billy Bowman Jr.
A slide stopped in Round 4, Pick 25, with Billy Bowman Jr. worth more than the price. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick145 Rnd5 Logan Brown
Logan Brown in the 145th overall pick is fair value, right on his grade. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick148 Rnd5 O'Donnell Fortune
O'Donnell Fortune at the Round 5 slot is right where the board had him, plain and simple. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Pick190 Rnd6 Jaydon Blue
Jaydon Blue is a better player than the 190th pick suggests; smart patience, rewarded. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick195 Rnd6 Quincy Riley
A tidy bit of business in slot 195, where Quincy Riley graded well above the range. They doubled down on a strength rather than a need.
