The Rams worked the phones like thieves and earned a B.

The real work happened on the phones. The Rams fleeced their trade partners, turning their picks into a noticeably bigger pile than they started with. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

The Rams indulged a want in Melton while a need in quarterback stayed open. They will need Pearl to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
