When a board-topper like Quinshon Judkins slides to the 192nd pick, you do not overthink it, and the Rams did not.

The cost of the McCord reach is exactly the players who went right after him. They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. For all the activity, safety went untouched, which is hard to explain.

The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, safety very much included.
