When a board-topper like Dillon Gabriel slides to Round 6, Pick 14, you do not overthink it, and the Rams did not. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

They are betting Brown proves the room right and everyone else wrong. They punted on safety, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
