They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Fernando Mendoza is the Rams' quarterback, full stop.

Reaching for Washington II left real value on the table behind him. However the rest shakes out, Campbell at that price is a win they earned.

That safety hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 6 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
