The Rams lost the trade table, and the D tells the story.

There is conviction, and then there is this. The Rams took Demon Clowney a full 70 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. Spending an early pick on cornerback with running back and quarterback open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

A whole weekend of picks and running back is somehow still a want. Landing McNeil-Warren that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.

In short, the board sent warnings, and they will be hoping it was wrong.
