The board owed the Rams one, and it paid up: Carnell Tate, the No. 21 name on the board, sitting there at pick 99 like a gift left on the doorstep.

LaNorris Sellers is the bet, and the class will be judged on how it pays off. The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. They will regret leaving running back for another day if the season turns on it.
