A sensible, unshowy class lands the Rams a B.

It is a puzzling start. The Rams had wide receiver, safety and other spots to solve and reached instead for Javon Solomon, an OLB-EDGE, at pick 99.

That wide receiver hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. If Carter pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. Landing Tampa that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.
