Draft Grade — Rams
Overall B
ValueA- NeedB- TradesB- FutureB-
The Rams robbed the room for Jones. Final grade: B.

The board owed the Rams one, and it paid up: Jarrian Jones, the No. 137 name on the board, sitting there at Round 6, Pick 21 like a gift left on the doorstep. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.

Pick Analysis
Pick19 Rnd1 Dallas Turner
In slot 19 they get a premier pass rusher. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick52 Rnd2 Quinyon Mitchell
Quinyon Mitchell at pick No. 52 is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
Pick83 Rnd3 Xavier Worthy
Xavier Worthy at No. 83 is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick99 Rnd3 Dadrion Taylor-Demerson
Value with a capital V on Dadrion Taylor-Demerson in Round 3, Pick 36, a genuine coup. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick154 Rnd5 Isaac Guerendo
A top-tier running back at a bargain, Isaac Guerendo in the 154th overall pick, plain and simple. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick155 Rnd5 Roger Rosengarten
The board fumbled Roger Rosengarten all the way to pick 155, and they scooped it up. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick196 Rnd6 Jarrian Jones
Jarrian Jones in the 196th pick is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. Pure best-available; the position was not exactly begging.
Pick209 Rnd6 Kamal Hadden
Circle this one: Kamal Hadden at the Round 6 slot is a fall that decides a draft. Nice player, but the depth chart did not need him here.
Pick213 Rnd6 Tahj Washington
Taking Tahj Washington in pick No. 213 is close to grand larceny; a wide receiver that good had no business lasting this long. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick217 Rnd6 M.J. Devonshire
They robbed the room for M.J. Devonshire here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. It is more luxury than necessity; they were already set here.
Pick254 Rnd7 Caedan Wallace
They will replay Caedan Wallace at the 254th overall pick for years; that is how good the value is. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
