Nothing loud, just a tidy B- for the Rams.

Somehow the biggest item on the list survived the weekend. The Rams never addressed wide receiver, and it is the kind of gap that lingers.

Every board in the league had Griffith lower, and that gap is the story. They went 3 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

The back end got a real overhaul.

Good work on the whole, with wide receiver the one box left unchecked.

In pick No. 18 they get a lockdown presence outside. Need was not the driver here.

They took Dontay Corleone at par in the Round 2 slot, which is nothing to complain about. It fills a real need, too.

Shilo Sanders in No. 82 lands just on the right side of the ledger. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.

They went early on Gabe Jacas in Round 4, Pick 18, and the value did not follow. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.

Thor Griffith in pick 178 is the kind of reach that only looks good if he outplays it. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.

A straight-up fair deal on Jaishawn Barham at the 181st pick, value and slot in agreement. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
