The rest of the league had time to spare on Jaheim Bell; the Rams did not wait, grabbing him 32 spots ahead at Round 4, Pick 3. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B+.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. Leaving running back unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

The Rams indulged a want in Solomon while a need in running back and quarterback stayed open.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
