The board owed the Rams one, and it paid up: Max Iheanachor, the No. 165 name on the board, sitting there at Round 6, Pick 22 like a gift left on the doorstep.

For all the activity, running back went untouched, which is hard to explain. They are betting Wilson proves the room right and everyone else wrong. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 4 of 8 of the wish list covered.

The dealing was even money, start to finish.
