The Rams did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Jake Majors fell into No. 188. The warnings were there, and the F is the bill.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. Leaving wide receiver unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

The Rams indulged a want in Campbell while a need in wide receiver, quarterback and other spots stayed open. The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not.

There is no spinning it; the board won this weekend going away.
