The Rams did not so much draft Kaden Prather as overpay for him, 67 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. They have staked the next five years on Jaxson Dart, which is the only story that really matters here.

The running back spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Walker at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.
