Nix is the Rams' new face under center. Grade: D. Call it larceny. Blake Fisher sat on the board until slot 160, and the Rams did not need to be asked twice.
Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. Tagovailoa has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. They have staked the next five years on Bo Nix, which is the only story that really matters here.
If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through safety.
In short, the board sent warnings, and they will be hoping it was wrong.
