Draft Grade — Rams
Overall B+
ValueB+ NeedB TradesA+ FutureB-
The Rams let Scott fall and pounced. Final grade: B+.

Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Rams came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.

However the rest shakes out, Scott at that price is a win they earned. They will regret leaving running back for another day if the season turns on it.

Spending an early pick on cornerback with running back, tight end and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the running back spot they never got to.

Pick Analysis
Pick18 Rnd1 Makai Lemon
In slot 18 they get a matchup problem out wide. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick29 Rnd1 Colton Hood
In pick No. 29 they get a sticky cover corner at fair value. Need was not the driver here.
Pick49 Rnd2 Dillon Thieneman
Dillon Thieneman at the 49th overall pick is money in the bank, a safety taken below his worth. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick61 Rnd2 Anthony Hill Jr.
A top-tier linebacker at a bargain, Anthony Hill Jr. in pick 61, plain and simple. A minor itch, scratched.
Pick93 Rnd3 Keionte Scott
A want over a need in No. 93: Keionte Scott adds a cornerback while running back, tight end and other spots keeps waiting.
Pick161 Rnd5 Keagen Trost
Keagen Trost in Round 5, Pick 23 lands just on the right side of the ledger. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick167 Rnd5 Aaron Graves
Fair-plus on Aaron Graves, a quiet win that adds up over a draft. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick205 Rnd6 Eric McAlister
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Eric McAlister at Round 6, Pick 26 is the proof. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick208 Rnd6 Charles Jagusah
Charles Jagusah at pick 208 nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick232 Rnd7 Jalen Huskey
A reasonable price with a little left over, Jalen Huskey in the 232nd pick. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick250 Rnd7 Trey Zuhn III
Good price on Trey Zuhn III in No. 250, a hair ahead of his grade with no real quibbles. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick256 Rnd7 Cole Payton
They robbed the room for Cole Payton here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
