The steal of the weekend belongs to the Chiefs and Johnson: D.

The trade table was where it all came apart. The Chiefs shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill.

Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. However the rest shakes out, Johnson at that price is a win they earned.

In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.
