Draft Grade — Ravens
Overall D
ValueC NeedB TradesF FutureA+
The Ravens lost the trade table, and the D tells the story.

There is conviction, and then there is this. The Ravens took Phillip Webb a full 92 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. A whole weekend of picks and running back is somehow still a want. Landing Moore that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.

The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster.

In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.

Pick Analysis
Pick140 Rnd5 Logan Brown
Logan Brown at Round 5, Pick 2 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick149 Rnd5 Malachi Moore
Malachi Moore in slot 149 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. A minor itch, scratched.
Pick155 Rnd5 O'Donnell Fortune
O'Donnell Fortune in the 155th overall pick is fine work, a shade of surplus and no downside. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick157 Rnd5 Andres Borregales
By-the-book stuff, Andres Borregales at No. 157 squarely in line with his ranking. Stacking talent where they were already deep.
Pick158 Rnd5 Elijah Roberts
A swing that ignored the value entirely, Elijah Roberts well ahead of where he belonged. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick165 Rnd5 Dont'e Thornton Jr.
Value said wait; Dont'e Thornton Jr. in pick 165 says they were not listening. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick168 Rnd5 Vernon Broughton
A real head-scratcher, Vernon Broughton in No. 168 is miles ahead of his ranking. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick183 Rnd6 Oronde Gadsden II
They went early on Oronde Gadsden II in the Round 6 slot, and the value did not follow. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick218 Rnd7 Hayden Conner
A big swing on Hayden Conner at slot 218, well ahead of any board in the building. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick226 Rnd7 Isaac TeSlaa
Isaac TeSlaa at pick 226 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick251 Rnd7 Kaden Prather
Kaden Prather at Round 7, Pick 35 is the kind of overdraft that needs everything to break right. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick257 Rnd7 Phillip Webb
Phillip Webb in pick No. 257 is a bet on their own eyes over everyone else's grade. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
