The steal of the weekend belongs to the Raiders and Burke: B.

The rest of the league will want that one back. Denzel Burke tumbling to the Raiders in the Round 4 slot is a gift they did not have to think twice about. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.

The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Gray has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with cornerback the one that mattered most.

The skill positions did well by the weekend.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.

Jalon Walker slid further than he should have, and the Round 2 slot is lovely value for the linebacker. A minor itch, scratched.

Tre Harris in pick 68 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.

Denzel Burke in No. 108 is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.

They let Darius Alexander come to them and pounced at the 143rd overall pick. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.

Joshua Gray at Round 6, Pick 4 jumps the queue by a touch more than is comfortable. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
