They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Fernando Mendoza is the Raiders' quarterback, full stop. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

The Hall reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. The Lawson pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
