Draft Grade — Raiders
Overall

FutureB-
The Raiders left with their quarterback, and a B- to match. The search is over. The Raiders handed the keys to Dante Moore, and the whole operation now runs on his development. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.
Reaching for Keenan III left real value on the table behind him. Reese falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer.
Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
Pick Analysis
Pick2
Rnd1
Dante Moore
They paid sticker price for Dante Moore in pick 2, and that is fine. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick33
Rnd2
Arvell Reese
Arvell Reese in the 33rd pick is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Pick67
Rnd3
Cayden Green
A big swing on Cayden Green at the Round 3 slot, well ahead of any board in the building. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick102
Rnd4
Tim Keenan III
A swing that ignored the value entirely, Tim Keenan III well ahead of where he belonged. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick111
Rnd4
Deion Burks
No drama and no debate, Deion Burks went about where he belonged in the 111th overall pick. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick136
Rnd4
Jalon Kilgore
A slide stopped in Round 4, Pick 36, with Jalon Kilgore worth more than the price. A minor need, but a need all the same.
Pick173
Rnd5
Aamil Wagner
By-the-book stuff, Aamil Wagner at No. 173 squarely in line with his ranking. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick183
Rnd6
Le'Veon Moss
A reach on Le'Veon Moss in slot 183; the board had better options right there. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick187
Rnd6
Evan Stewart
Evan Stewart at pick 187 jumps the queue by a touch more than is comfortable. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick217
Rnd7
Jalon Daniels
Jalon Daniels in the 217th pick is fair value, right on his grade. The roster fit checks out.
