Draft Grade — Falcons
Overall B-
ValueB NeedB TradesB- FutureB-
A sensible, unshowy class lands the Falcons a B-.

Every other box got a look, but offensive lineman did not. The Falcons will head to camp with the same hole they walked in with. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

The cost of the Lance reach is exactly the players who went right after him. The Banks value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.

Pick Analysis
Pick42 Rnd2 Caleb Banks
They read the board right and Caleb Banks was the payoff at slot 42. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick73 Rnd3 Colton Hood
A clean, defensible pick in pick 73 with a little surplus value in Colton Hood. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick110 Rnd4 Bryce Lance
They liked Bryce Lance enough to skip the value, taking him in pick No. 110. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick190 Rnd6 Rayshaun Benny
Rayshaun Benny in the Round 6 slot is the kind of reach that only looks good if he outplays it. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick224 Rnd7 Drayk Bowen
Drayk Bowen in the 224th overall pick is exactly on the number, no argument either way. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
