If confidence were a draft strategy, the Eagles would have aced it. Trey Moore at pick No. 165 is 48 spots clear of where he belonged.

The Allar steal is the beam this whole class leans on. That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
