Draft Grade — Chargers
Overall B-
ValueC+ NeedB TradesB- FutureB-
No fireworks, just a tidy B- for the Chargers.

You can draft well and still miss the point. The Chargers did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to edge rusher, which was the need that mattered most. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

If Corleone pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. Interior defensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.

Pick Analysis
Pick25 Rnd1 Dontay Corleone
In pick 25 they get a load in the middle, reach and all. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick59 Rnd2 Dillon Thieneman
A clean, defensible pick in No. 59 with a little surplus value in Dillon Thieneman. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Pick90 Rnd3 Brian Parker II
Fair-plus on Brian Parker II, a quiet win that adds up over a draft. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick125 Rnd4 Jaishawn Barham
No drama and no debate, Jaishawn Barham went about where he belonged in Round 4, Pick 25. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Pick206 Rnd6 Tree Babalade
Tree Babalade at the Round 6 slot is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
