A costly weekend of dealing drags the Raiders to a D-.

There is reaching, and then there is Kenyatta Jackson Jr. at the 86th pick. The Raiders jumped the board by 31 and dared it to prove them wrong. The process wobbled, and the D- is where it lands.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. Spending an early pick on linebacker with tight end open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

Leaving tight end unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Getting Singleton where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, tight end very much included.
