A costly weekend of dealing drags the Raiders to a D-. They will call it conviction in the building and a reach everywhere else: Patrick Payton, 51 picks early at Round 6, Pick 6.
They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. For all the activity, tight end went untouched, which is hard to explain. The Wheatley steal is the beam this whole class leans on.
Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and tight end is still a hole.
