Mendoza is the plan now, and the Raiders grade out a B-.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Raiders spent their marquee pick on Fernando Mendoza, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback.

They banked enough surplus on York to cover a lot of smaller sins. They are betting Zuhn III proves the room right and everyone else wrong. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.

In the 1st pick they get their guy under center for the next decade. A clean fit for the roster.

Emmanuel Pregnon at Round 2, Pick 4 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.

Gennings Dunker in the 67th overall pick is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.

A linebacker of that caliber at No. 102 is the definition of value, full stop. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.

Will Lee III in pick No. 117 lands just on the right side of the ledger. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.

A clean, defensible pick in pick 134 with a little surplus value in Logan Jones. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
