Start where it matters. The Raiders took Fernando Mendoza to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. It is not that McNeil-Warren is a bad player; it is that the Raiders had louder needs to answer first. The Downs pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
