The Raiders finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a B-.

Start where it matters. The Raiders took Fernando Mendoza to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one.

Reaching for Owens II left real value on the table behind him. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.

The Williams pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with cornerback the one that mattered most.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
