The search is over. The Raiders handed the keys to Fernando Mendoza, and the whole operation now runs on his development. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

The Styles pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
