Milroe should have been long gone. The Raiders pounced, and earned a B.

The rest of the league will want that one back. Jalen Milroe tumbling to the Raiders in the Round 5 slot is a gift they did not have to think twice about. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.

They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
