Draft Grade — Raiders
Overall B-
ValueB- NeedB TradesB- FutureB-
The Raiders drew a line under the quarterback search with Moore: B-.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Raiders spent their marquee pick on Dante Moore, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. Reaching for Green left real value on the table behind him.

The Branch pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.

Pick Analysis
Pick1 Rnd1 Dante Moore
By-the-book stuff, Dante Moore at slot 1 squarely in line with his ranking. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick33 Rnd2 Emmanuel Pregnon
No edge and no loss on Emmanuel Pregnon in pick 33; it is a wash and a sensible one. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick65 Rnd3 Cayden Green
They liked Cayden Green enough to skip the value, taking him in No. 65. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick101 Rnd4 Harold Perkins Jr.
Harold Perkins Jr. in the 101st overall pick is fair value, right on his grade. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick118 Rnd4 Bishop Fitzgerald
A tidy little value on Bishop Fitzgerald in the Round 4 slot, a step better than break-even. A minor need, but a need all the same.
Pick136 Rnd4 Zachariah Branch
Zachariah Branch at Round 4, Pick 36 is money in the bank, a wide receiver taken below his worth. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick175 Rnd5 Davison Igbinosun
Davison Igbinosun at the 175th pick is right where the board had him, plain and simple. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick182 Rnd6 Albert Regis
Fair-plus on Albert Regis, a quiet win that adds up over a draft. It fills a real need, too.
Pick183 Rnd6 Duce Robinson
A market-rate wide receiver, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Duce Robinson. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick217 Rnd7 Lee Hunter
Lee Hunter at the 217th pick nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
