Larceny in the Round 7 slot lands the Raiders a A-, Stout and all. Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Upton Stout got past him. The Raiders do not have to explain a thing at the 224th overall pick.
The Schwesinger pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at edge rusher, quarterback and other spots. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. The Christian Kirk pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.
On the needs board they went 3 of 8, with cornerback the one that mattered most.
Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Nick Emmanwori and all.
