Draft Grade — Raiders
Overall B-
ValueB NeedB TradesB- FutureC+
A respectable, level-headed haul for the Raiders: B-.

The Raiders treated their own grade as gospel and everyone else's as noise, spending slot 222 on Marcus Yarns a full 42 spots early. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. The Gadsden II value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes. Their trades came out a wash either way.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.

Pick Analysis
Pick6 Rnd1 Ashton Jeanty
In pick 6 they get a featured back at fair value. A real need, handled.
Pick37 Rnd2 Jihaad Campbell
Jihaad Campbell in the Round 2 slot is exactly on the number, no argument either way. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Pick68 Rnd3 Jayden Higgins
A slide stopped in the 68th overall pick, with Jayden Higgins worth more than the price. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick108 Rnd4 Jacob Parrish
They went early on Jacob Parrish in pick No. 108, and the value did not follow. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick143 Rnd5 Malachi Moore
Good price on Malachi Moore in No. 143, a hair ahead of his grade with no real quibbles. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
Pick155 Rnd5 Kurtis Rourke
Nice patience on Kurtis Rourke, who had no business lasting to Round 5, Pick 17. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick180 Rnd6 Jack Kiser
They took Jack Kiser at par in the 180th overall pick, which is nothing to complain about. They doubled down on a strength rather than a need.
Pick213 Rnd6 Oronde Gadsden II
Oronde Gadsden II at the 213th pick is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick215 Rnd6 Brandon Crenshaw-Dickson
A tidy bit of business in No. 215, where Brandon Crenshaw-Dickson graded well above the range. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick222 Rnd7 Marcus Yarns
They talked themselves into Marcus Yarns at the Round 7 slot, and the board did not agree. It fills a real need, too.
