The Raiders left with their quarterback, and a D- to match.

Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Raiders spent the 185th pick on Adepoju Adebawore, a name most had 44 spots down the list. Hard to defend, and the D- reflects that.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. Whatever Fernando Mendoza becomes, the front office has tied its fortunes to the answer. Leaving tight end unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

That Lew pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even.
