The Raiders spent real capital to be 44 picks early on Adepoju Adebawore, and the board is going to hold them to it. The process wobbled, and the D- is where it lands.

Fernando Mendoza is the bet, and the class will be judged on how it pays off. They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. They will regret leaving tight end for another day if the season turns on it.

On value alone, Lew makes the weekend a net positive.
