The Raiders answered their biggest question with Mendoza. Grade: D-.

Somebody took the Raiders to the cleaners. The deals they made bled real value, and the whole class wears it. Too much went sideways, and the D- is the honest tally.

Fernando Mendoza is the bet, and the class will be judged on how it pays off. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

They will need Davis to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. Hall at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and edge rusher is still a hole.
