The Raiders finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a B.

The search is over. The Raiders handed the keys to Shedeur Sanders, and the whole operation now runs on his development.

The Walker pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.

Pick Analysis
Pick1 Rnd1 Shedeur Sanders
In pick 1 they get their quarterback of the future. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick34 Rnd2 Emeka Egbuka
They let Emeka Egbuka come to them and pounced at pick No. 34. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick65 Rnd3 Jalon Walker
You do not let a linebacker like Jalon Walker reach the Round 3 slot and blink. They did not. A minor need, but a need all the same.
Pick69 Rnd3 Kaleb Johnson
Somehow Kaleb Johnson was still sitting there in slot 69, and they pounced on premier running back value. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
