The Raiders drew a line under the quarterback search with Simpson: A-.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Raiders spent their marquee pick on Ty Simpson, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. They executed a plan and it shows in the A-.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. The Abney II steal is the beam this whole class leans on. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Bottom line, they left the weekend a clearly better team, and they earned every bit of it.
