Quarterback settled, Mendoza in the fold, and a B+ for the Raiders.

They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Fernando Mendoza is the Raiders' quarterback, full stop. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B+.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. The Shuler steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

The running back hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Every board in the league had Smith lower, and that gap is the story.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
