A costly weekend of dealing drags the Raiders to a D. The tape said wait; the Raiders did not. Haynes King went at No. 240, a good 57 picks before the board was ready. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D.
They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. The Hubbard pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.
The verdict is not kind, and fairly so; this class has a hill to climb.
