Draft Grade — Raiders
Overall

FutureC-
The Raiders got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the F. Somebody took the Raiders to the cleaners. The deals they made bled real value, and the whole class wears it.
They will regret leaving wide receiver for another day if the season turns on it. They are betting Abney II proves the room right and everyone else wrong. Spend now, pay later; the math only works if this class delivers.
There is no soft landing here: they fought the board and left wide receiver open, and the grade is the bill.
Pick Analysis
Pick31
Rnd1
Kayden McDonald
In the Round 1 slot they get an anchor for the defensive front at fair value.
Pick37
Rnd2
LaNorris Sellers
No drama and no debate, LaNorris Sellers went about where he belonged in No. 37. It fills a real need, too.
Pick38
Rnd2
Jake Slaughter
A reasonable price with a little left over, Jake Slaughter in Round 2, Pick 6. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick39
Rnd2
Anthony Hill Jr.
A straight-up fair deal on Anthony Hill Jr. at slot 39, value and slot in agreement. A minor itch, scratched.
Pick58
Rnd2
Quincy Rhodes Jr.
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Quincy Rhodes Jr. at pick No. 58 is the proof. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick67
Rnd3
Keith Abney II
Keith Abney II at the 67th overall pick is a clear overpay, with better names still on the board. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick131
Rnd4
Tacario Davis
They read the board right and Tacario Davis was the payoff at the 131st pick. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick152
Rnd5
Nico Iamaleava
They went early on Nico Iamaleava in pick 152, and the value did not follow. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick173
Rnd5
Lander Barton
A premium they did not need to pay, Lander Barton a notch or two before his time. Stacking talent where they were already deep.
