Draft Grade — Raiders
Overall

FutureB-
The Raiders left with their quarterback, and a B- to match. The search is over. The Raiders handed the keys to Dante Moore, and the whole operation now runs on his development. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.
Reaching for Moore left real value on the table behind him. Getting Styles where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.
For all the activity, running back went untouched, which is hard to explain.
Good work on the whole, with running back the one box left unchecked.
Pick Analysis
Pick5
Rnd1
Dante Moore
In No. 5 they get their guy under center for the next decade at fair value. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick36
Rnd2
Isaiah World
A market-rate offensive lineman, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Isaiah World. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick67
Rnd3
Sonny Styles
You do not let a linebacker like Sonny Styles reach the 67th overall pick and blink. They did not. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick105
Rnd4
Julian Neal
A tidy bit of business in slot 105, where Julian Neal graded well above the range. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick112
Rnd4
Derrick Moore
Derrick Moore at the Round 4 slot is the kind of overdraft that needs everything to break right. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick134
Rnd4
Chase Bisontis
A reasonable price with a little left over, Chase Bisontis in pick 134. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick173
Rnd5
Kyle Louis
Kyle Louis at Round 5, Pick 33 is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. Depth on depth, at a spot that was hardly crying out.
Pick183
Rnd6
Davison Igbinosun
Davison Igbinosun is a better player than the 183rd pick suggests; smart patience, rewarded. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick185
Rnd6
Duce Robinson
Duce Robinson in the 185th overall pick is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick220
Rnd7
Bear Alexander
A wild overpay on Bear Alexander in pick No. 220, the sort that defines a class for the wrong reasons. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
