Clark should have been long gone. The Eagles pounced, and earned a D. The phones were a trap the Eagles kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal. Too much went sideways, and the D is the honest tally.
Spending an early pick on TE-EDGE with quarterback and tight end open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback.
Clark at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.
Bottom line, they will be counting on several picks to beat their grades.
