Larceny in pick No. 59 lands the Raiders a A-, Slaughter and all.

The Raiders ran the phones like sharks, prying loose value on deal after deal until the ledger was lopsided. Little to argue with here, and the A- says so.

They will answer for taking safety early while wide receiver, quarterback and other spots went begging. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped wide receiver, which is a strange place to end up.

Slaughter at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.

Add it up and this is about as clean as a draft weekend gets.
