A costly weekend of dealing drags the Browns to a C-.

The Browns went off the board in a big way for Da'Shawn Womack, 51 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another. It washes out to a C-, no better and no worse.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. Landing Lew that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.

The tight end spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. On the needs board they went 7 of 9, with quarterback the one that mattered most.

The verdict is a shrug for now, with the swing picks left to write the real ending.
