The 49ers looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Brevyn Spann-Ford at No. 215 regardless, 34 picks early. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Thomas. With running back, interior defensive lineman and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on cornerback is the choice that costs them. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through running back.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
